Project description
In the heart of Berlin, Züblin is realising an architectural highlight for Axel Springer SE: a new office building with a cantilevered, three-dimensionally folded atrium façade designed by Dutch star architect Rem Koolhaas. The new building is being constructed on the approximately 10,000 square metre “Lindenpark site” in the middle of the former newspaper district and along the former Berlin Wall. The former border line runs right through the building. The interior will be characterised by interconnected terraces, many glass surfaces and a 45-metre-high atrium that opens up towards the existing publishing building and the city. In future, a total of 3,500 people will work in the building with a total of 13 storeys.
