Project description

Bayerische Hausbau has developed an upmarket residential and office complex on the site of the former Togal pharmaceutical plant in Munich-Bogenhausen. A combination of modernity and history: it consists of five new buildings and a listed existing building from the late 19th century. In addition to privately financed and subsidised flats, 2,150 square metres of office space and a 360 square metre retail unit have been created at the site. A total of 52 residential units were created through moderate redensification and repurposing of the previously industrially used area in close consultation with the City of Munich. The city recognised the successful combination of old and new in 2017 with the façade award and in 2018 with the award of honour for good residential construction.
